Vinyl

The objective for this project was to incorporate a previous assignment (Point & Line) and applied it to a new product design: a custom vinyl record set. The set includes a 12” x 12” record cover (front and back) and a record sleeve.

I chose to recreate the album’s aesthetic while incorporating my own artistic perspective. The front cover features Tyler’s signature pink color palette from the original release, combined with a black and white Photoshop cutout of the artist. I also included one of my original thumbnail drawings from point and line, representing the concept of “tension,” which I felt aligned with both the emotional tone and visual style of the album.

The back cover showcases a custom typographic pattern created using the word “IGOR,” along with the album’s title and original credit line attributing Tyler for the full creative production. This record set allowed me to explore visual storytelling, branding, and product design, while honoring the original work and introducing my own conceptual elements.
