Directional Poster
Project Goals
Create a typographic poster
List functional directions from point a to b
Utilize expressive type
Use a split compliment color palette
Project Description
The goal of this project was to design a poster that served a dual purpose: to provide clear, functional directions to Building 13, and to capture the emotional tone of our journey to Dayton through expressive typography.
The challenge of the project was to communicate the mood we experienced during our travel. Whether it was excitement, confusion, exhaustion, or boredom, the typography had to visually reflect those emotions. Through careful type selection, layout, scale, and stylization, we used the letter forms as a storytelling tool.
This poster guides viewers both literally and emotionally, inviting them to experience not just where we went, but how it felt to get there.
Project Target Audience
