Project Description

The objective of this project was to develop a unifying theme for the 2025 Portfolio Show that would represent the full range of creative degrees being showcased. Our team chose the concept “Behind the Design” a theme that highlights not only the final work, but also the tools, processes, and the designers behind each piece. The goal was to shift the spotlight from just the end product to the creative journey and the individuals who bring the design to life.

This project required extensive collaborative brainstorming to ensure the theme was conceptually strong and inclusive of all degrees represented. I prioritized research and trial and error when identifying appropriate websafe fonts and developing a color palette with custom color names that aligned with the tone and message of our theme.

The result is a cohesive and thoughtful concept that celebrates both the art and the artist.
